Porcelain Stone Mines (Lithium-Bearing)
introduce

CORUN’s Donglian Mining boasts four mines: Dangtian Porcelain Mine, Tongan Porcelain Mine, First Porcelain Mine, and Ejing Porcelain Mine. With a total mining area of 1.4938 square kilometers, the mines have a prospective ore reserve of approximately 12 million tons. The lithium oxide grade ranges from 1.4% to 1.6%, with an inventory of 168,000 tons of lithium oxide, capable of producing over 300,000 tons of lithium carbonate.

Features/advantages

The ore consists of felsic dikes and fine-grained (porphyritic) rocks, with main mineral compositions including quartz (20%-40%), mica (muscovite, lepidolite, phlogopite) (3%-55%), and feldspar (weathered into kaolinite and a small amount of montmorillonite at the surface and shallow depths) (20%-60%). Minor mineral compositions include muscovite, topaz, lepidolite, kaolinite, etc. The ore mineral is feldspar.

parameter

The porcelain stone ore contains up to 19.12% Al2O3 with an average grade of 16.93. The K2O + Na2O content is less than 10%, Fe2O3 is less than or equal to 1%, and TiO2 content is minimal. According to the general industrial requirements for porcelain stone used in ceramics, the ore in this area can be used as raw material and ingredients for daily-use ceramics and architectural and sanitary ceramics. The Li2O, Cs2O, Rb2O, Ta2O5, and Nb2O5 in the mining area all meet the grade requirements for associated minerals.
